The protagonist of this tale. Her parents have been dead for as long as she can remember. Because her acquaintances meet accidents or untimely deaths, she became known as the “the god of death” and is abhorred by those around her.

Despairing her sorrowful circumstances, she attempts to take her own life—until Ankou appears. Thus, she begins to confront the rampant “death” that plagues Arpecheur.
