Yui is a protective household deity (座敷童 or 座敷童子) who reaches puberty as she falls from the roof of an old schoolhouse right in the arms of the protagonist.
In her innocence she clings to the protagonist at once.

In True Story her name changes from ゆい to her real name 結./
