Based on Tristan, who was a Cornish knight of the Round Table and the hero of the Arthurian Tristan and Iseult story. He's nephew of King Mark of Cornwall, sent to fetch Iseult back from Ireland to wed the king. However, he and Iseult accidentally consume a love potion while en route and fall helplessly in love. The pair undergo numerous trials that test their secret affair.

A knight of the Round Table under Arthur's command. Tristan is an unfortunate soul who always gets beset by accidents no matter what she does. Lethal accidents, such as her comrade's weapons exploding, or the roof caving in on her, frequently happen around her, but her naturally high physical prowess allows her to somehow plow through them. She is a hopeless narcissist, who is drunk on her own misfortune.
