A recurring character in each game in the Memories Off series. As a supporting character, Shin is good at understanding the protagonists, entertaining his surroundings and commenting the events in the story. 
Usually, Shin is a freeter or a part-time worker. His appearance changes a bit throughout the series.

Shin owns a dog named Tomoya, which is called after the protagonist of the first game in the Memories Off series. Tomoya (the dog) always hangs around Shin in the games.

Shin is a freeter and a self-proclaimed "free man". He is an alumnus from Sumisora Gakuen who is currently making a living by working part-time at "Rusakku", a local family restaurant. Shin seems to be a regular at Ririsu's grandmother's small restaurant, "Fumi", as he often appears there aimlessly. Although he gives out the impression of a careless and superficial person, in reality Shin is unexpectedly loyal and reliable. He is the brother of a certain ******e. 
He is Suzu/Rein's younger brother./

Memories Off 6: Next Relation:
In his vacation from working at "Rusakku", Shin had to go out for a summer only long-term part-time job in an onsen (spa) located in a ryokan (traditional inn).
