Protagonist of the story. After being dumped by his girlfriend he dedicates all his time and anger into building his own business. After several years he accepts his sister-in-law and her daughters in his life but Souchi has plans to take revenge for all the pain and suffering that Haruka caused him in the past

 Shortly after Haruka and her daughters moved to his house, Souichi treats them with hatred and contempt, but after they gradually relate to him, Souichi realizes that he is still the good person he was all of those years ago. He decides to leave his hatred and resentment to give his "new" family a chance. /
