Azusa is a second-year student and a close friend (and neighbor) of Tsukuyo's. She has a very strict temperament, even making the "poor" Madoka tremble around her. At their first meeting, she was be quite cold towards Makoto, whom she thought was a pervert. However, she was very sweet and kind to Arisa, which shows that she is not a woman with a heart of stone.

Azusa is an honors student who gets above average grades in every subject, and works very hard.
