Yutaka's father and the shrine's main priest. He is a silent man and won't speak to Yutaka any more than necessary. Jouji wants his son to succeed the shrine, but at this point in time they don't get along.

While surprised by the goddesses who suddenly appeared in front of his son, he displayed understanding in silence and allowed them to live in the shrine. 
In exchange, he demanded from his son to decide on how he is going to take responsibility for what he's done.
