Mother of Miyako and wife of Iwao. She wishes for her daughter to study abroad, but finds out she has a boyfriend, Shinji. Knowing that Miyako won't leave because of the her boyfriend, she decides to have an affair with Shinji, so he will leave Miyako and she can study abroad.
