Atsu is the childhood friend of Karin, Jun, Yume, Yurari and Seiji and later the friend of Mitsu.

She is the head of the student council and is known for her rigor and severity. Because of her duty, she doesn't drag much with Karin and Jun, the distance is created between them and that makes her uncomfortable.

She looks extremely cold at first glance but in reality she is very kind and that is one of the reasons that explains her popularity. She is far from indifferent when she learns that Seiji is back, however she can not spend much time with him but she still finds a way to go to see him from president of the council to club president.

Of the three childhood friends of Seiji, she was the only one who hadn't moved to say goodbye to Seiji 10 years before, not because she didn't want it but because she was hurt (indirectly because of Seiji) because their secret base collapsed during an argument she had with Seiji when he told her he was moving. She also keeps a scar of that accident but it's hidden today by her rather generous chest.

If Seiji decides to spend some time with her, she reveals herself and gets closer to him and she confesses that she felt perhaps more than friendship to him 10 years before.

Her father is very traditional and is very attached to his daughter who is his only family, and she respects his will, that's why she doesn't want to have (penetrating) sex with Seiji as long as her father doesn't recognized him as her boyfriend./
