Konomi is in her last year of middle school and is the step sister of Shuuji. She practices judo as Shuuji did before with Amane as a mentor. Unlike Nadeshiko, Konomi gets along well with Shuuji, she loves her new family and she worries a lot about him, who does not give her any news since he left. Her real father has also deceased, but Konomi is straightforward and does her best in this hard situation. She's doing her best to do something about the cold relationship between her mother and her step brother. She's admirably well-behaved and calm, but she her personality has a strong base and she acts whenever needed. 

Aside from her family, Konomi loves Amane and Aoi a lot and she would like to one day be able to cook as well as they do.

She is a very innocent and naive girl. Pretty shy, she doesn't dare to impose too much to say what she thinks. To help her get some insurance, Amane trains her to Judo herself and that helps her to at least have the courage to speak to other peoples. 

Two or three years ago, she used to go to Shuuji's room to read manga or light novels on his bed. Also nowadays, Konomi doesn't have a particular hobby except staying in her room to read manga, which suggests she must be very alone.

She has frequent and long verbal arguments with Nadeshiko regarding her academic orientation and regarding how is her mother's relationship with Shuuji.

In her route, after a very violent argument with her mother, Konomi runs away from her home and goes to Amane's house for her to take her to Shuuji's house. Once towards him, Shuuji told him to go to her room so that she would take a book as they did before, which she does. Looking for the rest of the manga she used to read, she comes across an ***** manga that she begins to read out of curiosity. Shuuji then enters the room and Konomi panics a little. After explaining some things to him, Konomi told him with embarrassment that if he really needed to relieve himself, that she would help him and that he did not need to worry because they did not have any blood kinship.

Over time, Konomi's character is more and more like her mother. According to Nadeshio, Konomi even looks like her physically when she was the same age./
