フィル・カーター

The eldest brother of the Carter family, a house that is noble enough to be employed by the Reed family. He is also Adel's best friend.

He used to work for Louis, but since Louis passed over the position of becoming head of the Reed house to Adel, Phil is now employed by Adel. He looks as though he has his head in the clouds and is hard to read, but in fact, Phil has a kind personality and is good at taking care of and helping others.

As well as the fact that Phil is talented, his hard work paid off since he was able to safely graduate the knight academy and join the Varte Chivalric Order (lead by the Reeds). While Phil is a considerably skilled swordsman, he is right at the top when it comes to strategy and tactics- nobody is superior to him in those regards.

Because Phil put has successfully put on an act of being a serious, good young man when representing Adel in high society events, he's left many women prisoners of his love. Many of these women are one night stands. However, unsavoury rumours about his love life have not cropped up amongst the nobles, so nobody knows the truth that Phil is a playboy.
