カイン・コーエン

He's the second-oldest brother of the Cohen family, famous for their trading business. Cain is the same age as  Claire, as well as her childhood friend and her first love.

When he was 6-years-old, him and his family immigrated to Claire's home village, Sandicht. As a child, he was happy and active, troubling Claire with his nonsense. Cain has a dishonest side to him in which he's the type to tease the girl he likes. They spent time with each other everyday, be it attending church together or playing in the forest.

On the day the gang of thieves razed Sandicht, the Cohen family promptly sought refuge in Anselm. Though concerned about Claire, Cain had to escape the village with his parents. From then on, the two became separated. Since then, during his days off, he tries to collect information about the gang of thieves that raided Sandicht, and continues to search for Claire.

Since he's harboured feelings for Claire since they were little, he has no experience with women. Cain often makes an appearance at high society events, and is approached by many women. However, he rejects all of their advances.
