Koto is the only daughter of the wealthy and well-connected Kamiouji family. As would be expected for an ojou-sama character, she has been sheltered for a good part of her life. Due to her upbringing, she is very docile and more likely to follow than lead. She has a crush on Yuuichi, but hasn't confessed her feelings to him./

Koto joins the Occult Study Group out of sheer curiosity, or so she claims. As we later discover, Koto has the ability to sense and see ghosts. She also has the ability to freely communicate with them (Yes, she can see dead people). Much unlike Cole Sear, Koto has managed to befriend the spirits she has come across, and feels inclined to help them when needed. In the story's second stage, Koto manages to calm a vengeful spirit at school at a very crucial moment./
