She works at an infirmary ran by an elderly couple. Chisato doesn't come from the village, she herself has chosen to come a village lacking people with medical qualifications. Her responsible personality doesn't allow her to ignore people in trouble, and being very bright person who gets along with people well, she immediately got used to the village.

In the elderly doctor's stead she does home visits to nurse people in the village. She wishes the village's medical equipment was improved.

Since she has come to the village after Satoshi left, she isn't acquainted with him.
