セシル・リベラーティ

A scion of the Liberati, one of the Ten Families of the ultra-capitalist oligarchy of Antalya.  Four years living and working together with Ragna and Misaki have forged an unbreakable bond between the trio which surpasses a mere employer-employee relationship.  Under her smooth, pragmatic manner burns a hatred that rivals or even potentially surpasses that of Ragna and Misaki.

Her clan have a trading relationship with Canterbury for over nine generations. Much of the capital's High Street has shops which are directly affiliated with her clan. The logistics network commanded by the Liberati with respect to Canterbury's Capital is unrivalled in Antalya.

Cecile is head over heels in love with Ragna and makes no attempt to disguise romantic overtures towards him. Ragna on the other hand is consumed by the burden of Ragnarok and has not responded to her overtures positively up to the point where the story begins.

 Cecile's family, the Liberati, are the descendants of Sumeragi's first Disciple, Edward, and have inherited the genetic memory and vengeful hatred of their ancestor for him and his fellows for almost a thousand years.  Cecile, like all members of her family, was exposed to this hatred in the womb, and her bloodlust to see Sumeragi die was her first emotion. It is only after meeting Ragna and Misaki that she starts to think of the future beyond the deaths of the gods.

Cecile wields twin daggers and her energy-drain ability allows her to regenerate grievous injuries. Her ability is more effective the more crowded and chaotic the battlefield is. Under the right circumstances, her energy drain ability is so effective she can easily take on foes even Ragna and Jace have trouble dealing with. /
