アンジェリカ・フォン・アクトレイテ

An Inquisitor of the Holy Church of Canterbury, an Amatsu (descendant of the Japanese who in the Silverio world have a high probability of natural-born talent), and an Esperanto.  She is the collaborator within the ranks of the Church.  She has a venomous tongue and both friend and foe know she cannot be taken lightly.

In addition to her duties as Inquisitor, which include the unmasking of heretics and traitors and their execution, she is also the administrator of the "Expatriate Quarter", the one area where foreign visitors are allowed to spend the night in Canterbury's capital. 

She has been friends with Patricia for years, to the point they call each other "Pattie" and "Angie". Although she is weary of Patricia's propensity to needle her in public regarding her personality and bust size, she treasures Patricia more than anything else and will go out of her way to ensure her friend is not involved in pitched battles against the Godslayer.

Like all Actleir family members, she is Izana and Ouka's child and destined to bear Izana's child herself one day.  Unlike most of her family, she loathes the idea and desires nothing more than the death of the gods who birthed her.

Her staff Laevatein is the catalyst which powers her ability to project flames strong enough to burn just about anything. Her bloodline accentuates her powers, but at the same time her powers are destined to be no more than an inferior replica of her parent Izana's. /
