グレンファルト・フォン・ヴェラチュール

The nemesis of Ragna and Misaki. He immediately claims responsibility for the destruction of their village and the conversion of its inhabitants into crystallised Astrea. Although he is the first to witness the manifestation of the Godslayer, he does not disclose the knowledge to his compatriots immediately.

Although his official title is Head of the Paladins, the other Gods look to him as their leader in decision making. 

Currently, he has one Apostle, William Bergshrine. Bergshrine serves as his right-hand and living sword to use against his foes.

Before the Catastrophe, he was Kujou Haruto. A member of the Japanese research team in charge of the dimensional reactor. When it was sabotaged and his sister left his side, he swore he would use his immortality to find a way to reunite with her.

He has spent a thousand years training in fields he was weak in, to the point there is no one other than his compatriots and William Bergshrine who are his equal in battle. Although he taught Bergshrine swordplay, he confesses his Apostle has far surpassed the effort he and his compatriots devoted a thousand years of effort into while in his forties.

Although his compatriots are happy to proceed with the plan to supplant Amaterasu and recreate the old world prior to the Catastrophe, Glenfarth has no intention of stopping there. His real intention is to ascend as a Sphere and create a world where ALL of humanity can become Spheres themselves and live the life they wish without limitations.
