The field commander of the Angelic Forces defending against the demonic incursion. A fifth-rank Angel who rarely strays from the mountain where the Angelic stronghold is located. She has combat abilities commensurate with her angelic rank and is a capable strategist with a cold and calm demeanour. Simply approaching Klaus and his party gives off an aura of power which brings a cold sweat from both demons.

 Mavislaine knows all of the other ranked Angels by name, so if they are present when Klaus and his faction do battle with her she will admonish them for joining his ranks.

As the field commander, she is closest to the supreme commander of the Angelic Forces and one of her duties is to ensure no demon gets close to her superior. Klaus and Helmina comment on the mountain being known only to a select few demons (Beatrice being one of them), which implies Mavislaine and her subordinates have until now done an excellent job at ensuring virtually all intruders into the mountain do not leave alive.

If captured in battle, she does fully submit to Klaus's will. He in turn does not use sex magic on her even though he is perfectly capable of doing so. Klaus derives considerable satisfaction from watching Mavislaine squirm as she chafes under his command; he believes breaking a woman with strong will like her under his will without magical means is more challenging with a greater payoff should he succeed. /
