A Hitenma who deserted the Demon King's command and is now holed up in a remote corner of the Imniss mountain range. Younger than the rest of her peers, she has not adopted her kind's single-minded approach to battle. When the conflict between the Angels and Demons reached an impasse, she struggled to find meaning in an endless series of skirmishes and took off with several of her followers. She spends her days contemplating the meaning of her existence, watching over the conflict from a distance and defending her territory from intruders.

 Klaus seeks her out as he requires information on the whereabouts of the Angels' stronghold, which Beatrice can provide as she was at the forefront of battle before she deserted. Although she acknowledges the futility of the endless struggle between the two sides, she still holds pride as a Hitenma, one of the strongest of the warrior Demon tribes and does not hesitate to cut down any who intrude into her territory. 

If she is captured by Klaus and submits to his authority, she continues to agonise over her purpose in a war she does not believe in. Klaus in turn enjoys watching her internal angst with the occasional word of advice to keep her focused on the immediate goal, even as he acknowledges her immense value as one of his prime military assets. /
