ラヴィニア・キャスバン

A paladin who volunteered for the expedition to recover the holy statue of Lasfarr from the ruins beneath Ishgalia. She is proud of her status but occasionally her actions are contrary to those expected of typical paladins. Although she sometimes gets carried away by the immediate situation, the sense of justice she has is genuine while her benevolent nature makes her popular amongst the poor in Ishgalia's slums and other adventurers.

 Born to a religious merchant family living near the central Lasfarr church, she started to question her faith after witnessing first-hand the dark side of the church. A chance conversation with the Executor Crayle inspired her to join the church (initially through buying a post with her parents' help) and working her way up the hierarchy to become a paladin. Despairing at the behind-the-scenes politicking by competing church factions, she volunteered for the expedition to Ishgalia hoping to realise the original noble aims of the Lasfarr religion. /

She has a poor capacity for alcohol despite her fondness for ale and possesses an abysmal sense of direction.
