桜川 朋実

She's the successor to their family business, Japanese confectionery "Oukadou". Their main store is near Souma's hometown, and she's acquainted with Souma since her childhood. 

Currently, she's attending a famous high school, and is taking a culinary course. She's also the poster girl of Oukadou. 

Recently, they opened a branch store near Souma's atelier/office. She and her sister Ayana moved to the city at the same time their store opened for business. They live together as of the moment.

She helps at the store during her day offs, and there she met Souma once again. 

Since she plan to succeed Oukadou in the near future, she studies not only Japanese confectionery, but also Western and some others.

She knew that her sister dated Souma, but even so she loves him for the longest time.
