Back when she was still new and can't sell her designs, she worked under Souma's mother. From there, she was able to stand back up and reach her current status. 

Even after her name was well known in the industry, her gratitude for Souma's mother still hasn't changed. 

Her specialty is at jewelry design, but she has a good eye for anything art related. Have lots of acquaintances, as well as business connections.
