Makoto is the protagonist of the story. He lost his mother very young and has almost no memories of her, so his father raised him alone for a while. His aunt Kaho (his father's little sister), who was still a student at the time, often visited him so that he wouldn't feel alone and act like a big sister for Makoto. She often bothered him, played with him, and took baths with him.

His father opened a video rental store (VHS then DVD/CD/GAME) and met 10 years ago Ayame with whom he remarried. Makoto could never see her as his mother and Ayame became his first love.

Some time later, Kaho married and Makoto's father died, leaving his new wife and Makoto alone. After a few years, Makoto finished high school and moved to another city to start university.

A year later, after failing his exams, Makoto returns to his native village to find two frustrated women, Kaho and Ayame  ...
