ギルシュ・ルース

The third prince of the Influss kingdom and the one responsible for ordering excavation work on the newly discovered ruins (later known as the Guaracouna fortress).

 The very epitome of naked ambition, Gilsh plots to claim the mobile fortress for himself after learning of its true nature from Kisnil. He orders Roseline to do his bidding as a member of the Iinfluss royal line and is not above using her as a hostage when he is desperate. 

Roseline observes how Gilsh became increasingly twisted under the environment he was raised in whereby success was claimed entirely under one's credit and the liability for failure pushed onto the shoulders of others. Gilsh sees everyone around him in purely utilitarian terms; those who are useful to him are retained for as long as they serve his purpose while those who fail him are discarded quickly. Even his own subjects are seen as entirely disposable in his quest to claim the Fortress for himself and to use it as leverage to claim the position of heir-apparent from his elder brothers.
