Lyall

A fellow vassal and guildmate, Lyall has been Aliya's best friend for years. They're gentle and kind, even passive; they'd much rather yield and agree with others than spend any longer than a few seconds defending their position. Even so, they show an unparalleled sense of devotion and determination regarding Airis and her people. Lately, however, Lyall has been acting somewhat skittish and worried, although they try in vain to act otherwise, and their eyes sometimes fill with a sense of knowing acquiescence that they refuse to explain. Could they know something more than most about the plague or the blackouts? But how? And if so, why haven't they told Aliya?
