ヨルミネイト＝アイオン

Originally a member of the Knightly Order of the Red Bear, she is forced to carry the can after her Order is disgraced when the second prince they were assigned to protect perished in the recent war. Her humble origins and lack of political connections are the reason for her dishonourable discharge, but she is directed to the Maired fief with a letter of recommendation after meeting Rose at the insistence of her former commander.

Yorminate knew Siegfried prior to his ennoblement as he was in charge of cleaning the sleeping quarters of the Knightly Order during the recent war. Because of their prior acquaintance, she is entrusted with command of the fief's army.

Her reputation as one of the best fighters in the kingdom precedes her even in the distant Maired fief. Her training regimen for the fief's army is commensurately spartan. She is also the kingdom's best chess player with challengers making the fifteen day trip from the capital to the Maired fief hoping to supplant her.
