He is the father of Maaya and Yuu.

He and his wife are happy to see that their children get on well and don't argue with each other. They are amused to see them so close when Maaya asks Yuu to massage her shoulders.

To see them like this ( especially Maaya who is always smiling ) warms their heart and comfort them. However, they don't suspect that their daughter's smile hides a whole other thing than a simple older sister/younger brother relationship.

He likes to annoy his wife by telling to his son "if you are lucky enough to find a talented woman in the kitchen, you can afford not to look if she has a pretty face". He also says he likes younger women ... But he admits that his wife has been, and still is, the most beautiful in the world./
