Within a sweeping mansion in a picturesque town lives two children, the primary school kid Houjou Katsuki and her teenage butler Nagahara Hitsuji-kun. The master and mistress of the house have disappeared long ago, leaving the two to fend for themselves.

Since the bread winners have gone, Hitsuji has to take care of both the tiny girl and the expenses in the house. When the funds are running low, an idea hit him. He is going to turn the mansion into a lodging house.
