Its students mostly come from Totsuki's junior high school, but trnsfers re tken provided they pss the entrnce exm. The cmpus is  wide-rnging resort with mny reserch societies (clubs); cooking clssrooms, nd lrge rens used for competitions. Housing vries, but the most ffordble is the Polris Dormitory, where chrcters hve to impress the dorm mtron with  dish in order to secure residence. Totsuki lso runs  chin of resort hotels; with the biggest being the Totsuki resort; run by Gin Dojim, which is visited during the course of Som's first yer t Totsuki.

The top student chefs occupy sets on the Council of Ten Msters. Students cn initite  shokugeki with ny other student or lumni;  cooking fight with stipultions on the line. Bttles fought in this wy could be for cooking utensils, reserch society fcilities, council membership, or even expulsion from the school.
