Youhei is Tomoya's best friend and fellow delinquent. Although he initially attended Hikarizaka on an athletic scholarship in soccer, he was ultimately kicked off the team due to a fight, and became lazy to the point of earning a higher absence rate than Tomoya. He tends to put his proverbial foot in his mouth in social settings and suffers the consequences in the form of physical beatings from various classmates.
